Welcome oh hearty hailers of mischief! This is Jazzy Joe Romita, your inside connection to the goings on at the SKiN GRAFT Record Company. I'll be bringing you all of the latest info on your favorite bands and will deliver the steaming scoop on new releases before you hear it from anybody else!

ITEM!
What more appropriate way to kick off 2000 than with a delayed release?! The FLYING LUTTENBACHERS new cd "The Truth Is A Fucking Lie" is right on schedule for it's March 17th in-store date, but it is shipping late to our esteemed advance mailorder customers. In our perilous pursuit of quality, even we, your bright-eyed SG servants can hit an occasional snag. At the eleventh hour, our Atlanta connection came up short with our special order of SOLID BLACK MIRROR POLISH jewel cases! While This might foul up our Distinguished Competition, we'll let nothing stand in the way of our pursuit of ostentatious packaging! A few frenzied phone calls later, and the exact cases we required were located all the way over in the Czech Republic! Within the week, the cases were rollicking on over to the sunny California manufacturing plant. Suffice to say, these suckers look great! And I'm pleased to announce that the completed CD's are rocketing their way to the SG offices as I type. As soon as they hit our shipping department, the hearty sg interns will work tirelessly to fill all advance orders. Through it all, we'll still get the cd's in the hands of our forward thinking customers before they hit stores! Who says This isn't the Mighty SkiN GRAFT age of Can Do-ism?!?!

ITEM! Hold onto your hats heroes, we have a multitude of dizzying developments to share with you! Up Jumps The Devil Records CEO, Brian Peterson has come on board the good ship SKiN GRAFT to manage USA operations. SG Editor-in-Chief Mark Fischer is overseeing the transition and will move to Europe this summer In an effort to foil those rascally Sin Raft bootleggers. There he will head up SKiN GRAFT's burgeoning Euro-HQ. With developments this exciting, we at SKiN GRAFT landed an energetic new distributor to deliver those beloved platters of disaster to your local retailer! Please put your hands together for IMDistribution of Downey, California. IMD is the brainchild of smilin' Sonny Kay, ceo of Bottlenekk distro and the much-lauded label GSL. Sonny and his staff are absolutely the tops, gang. Please encourage your local store to buy direct from IMD, to insure that your neighborhood is getting all of the latest SKiN GRAFT goodies.

ITEM! The most exciting band in the world - ARAB ON RADAR, will begin touring in support of "Soak The Saddle", March 9th. Weasel Walter will be touring with 7,000 Dying Rats ...... and The Flying Luttenbachers will be taking the show on the road This April. See our tour dates section for the latest confirmed gigs.

Perhaps you've picked up one of their excellent records from Complacency or Pravda records. Or maybe you recall their astonishing three seconds on the Camp SKiN GRAFT cd. Tentatively titled, "Salad Days", this is the last Cheer Accident album to feature the late Phil Bonnet. "Salad Days', is Cheer Accident reborn. Now more spiritual! ~ (Pssst: check our distributed titles section for an opportunity to pick up a very special, all new, super limited CHEER ACCIDENT release!)

ITEM! Bashful Billy Sides has been misplaced amongst his enormous Laserdisc collection. Of course his no-wave free jazz label, B. Sides Records will continue to be distributed by SG. Watch for him to resurface on the website soon with his latest release: EXOSKELETON.
